1. In what ways do the animals in the novel act like humans? In what ways do they retain their identities as animals?
Every animal has its own personality both negative and positive. There very cleaver and know what there doing.

2. What is the main message of Old Major's speech in the barn?

He feels like he's the one who has to free everyone from the abuse an neglect from the owner. He also feels like everyone person is for themselves.

3.According to Old Major's speech, under what principles should the farm operate?

The principles are that bot man and animal shall be treated with the same respect, and everyone should have a place.

  2. I disagree with the last answer. I think that he is saying that no one should have a certain place and that animals and people should be treated with the same respects but be able to do all the same things. i see what you are saying though.
